Just choose and save location-tagged photographs from millions of Google Panoramio pictures in a wish-list of places to visit. Then, at your leisure, select a photo destination for turn-by-turn directions to the scene.
The BMW Portable Navigation System Pro route-planning features help you make sense of a longer or more complicated journey. You can save up to 10 routes, specify via points and preview simulated turns. It can automatically sorts multiple destinations into the most efficient route for errands, deliveries or sales calls. Wherever you go, the BMW Portable Navigation System Pro builds up a track log of up to 10,000 points, which can be downloaded and viewed through Google Earth.
Simple and safety-minded
The BMW Portable Navigation System Pro built-in Cyclops safety camera database contains details on hundreds of fixed, mobile and temporary safety cameras, variable limit and red light speed cameras across Europe. When you approach a camera, it sounds an alert and shows an overspeed warning and the speed limit to help you travel responsibly.
If a trip doesnt go to plan, just tap the car icon or say -Where Am I?- and the BMW Portable Navigation System Pro gives you details of your precise location - with coordinates - and the nearest address and junction. Access the number of your local vehicle recovery service and find the local hospital, police or petrol station.
With preloaded City Navigator® NT European street maps and up to millions of points of interest, the BMW Portable Navigation System Pro helps you navigate in 33 countries across the continent. Simply touch the colour screen or activate speech recognition and speak your commands for turn-by-turn spoken directions to your destination. It even announces the names of exits and streets so you never need to take your eyes off the road.
